Those who have already heard of Portugal have certainly heard of green wines «vinhos verdes» and Alvarinho. With a unique character, these are the typical wines of the northern region of Portugal. In order to get to know them better, we created this tourist tour.

Visit of the forteresse of Valença do Minho
Once used to defend Portuguese territory from invasions, this fortress is now one of the most visited places in northern Portugal for its authenticity and beauty. Inside this medieval city were born shops, restaurants and hotels.

Visit of the palace of Brejoeira
We will then head to Monção where we will visit the palace of Brejoeira, one of the most emblematic palaces of northern Portugal. After visiting the interior of the palace and from its gardens, we will taste the Alvarinho wine produced in the walls of this palace.

Visit of the Alvarinho Museum
After the visit, we will head to the city center of Monção where we will make a visit to the Alvarinho museum. You can discover how this wine is made and what makes it so special.

Lunch break
After having acquired all the knowledge about the wines of this region, we will take a break to make you better discover the gastronomy of this territory. Lunch is not included in the service.

Visit to Melgaço
In the direction of Melgaço, a city with many traditions and customs, we will visit a wine producer and we will taste wine and ham produced by them.
